When I have joined when can I start using the thames club? If you want to start your membership straight away then your membership will be activated immediately allowing you to use the indoor pool, steam room, sauna, spa and classes. If you would like to use the gym you will need to have a gym induction. This can usually be booked in for you 24-48 hours after joining, in some cases there maybe availability on the day of joining.
Why do I need to have a Gym Induction? All new members need an induction to comply with Health and Safety regulations and also to show them how to work the gym equipment.
What will I get included within my induction? Full induction of the gym equipment, wellness system induction and Goal Setting Consultation.
How long will my Gym Induction take? 45 minutes – 60 minutes.
Do I still need an induction if I have used gym equipment before? Yes, all new members must have an induction however the induction time can be reduced for you down to 15-20 minutes.
Do you offer Personal Training? Yes, we have Personal Trainers who specialise in a variety of areas.
What areas of expertise will the staff have that work at the thames club? All of our staff are trained to the highest standard and possess any required qualifications needed to complete their role.
What type of Changing Room Facilities do you have? Separate shower cubicles each with complimentary shampoo, private cubicle and open changing area, large wooden lockers with hanger, shoe space – operated by a £1 coin. We also have a range of power hairdryers.
Can I bring children into the club? Yes, but they must be accompanied by a member. See pool timetable for child swim times. Children must vacate the restaurant by 7pm.
Can I bring adults into the thames club if they are not a member? Yes but they must be accompanied by a member. Price: £12 for a peak time and £6 off peak.
