The Thames Club Wins “Best Business” at the Spelthorne Business Awards 2025

We are delighted to announce that The Thames Club has been awarded Best Business in Staines and Laleham at the Spelthorne Business Awards 2025.

This is a fantastic achievement for the Club under its new ownership, and we are incredibly proud of all our staff who have contributed to this success.

The Thames Club has also been named a finalist for two prestigious national awards:

• National Fitness Awards – Club of the Year

• UK Active Awards – Independent Gym of the Year

The winners will be announced on 30th October and 28th November, and we feel truly honoured to be among the final four health clubs nationally for both the separate Awards, selected from hundreds across the country.

Simon Rice, General Manager, commented: “We are so pleased to have won Best Business of the Year in Staines and Laleham. This was a great achievement for the club as there were many fantastic local companies including those whose staff are loyal members of The Thames Club and our current local company partners that could have taken home this award too.

Bringing the trophy back to The Thames Club is a wonderful feeling, and we’d like to thank all our members, corporate partners, our new owners, and most importantly our amazing staff who work tirelessly to deliver an exceptional experience, in which this award is dedicated and down to them.
